In order to create a beautiful and tranquil yoga experience for you, we have selected this elegant venue in Sardinia Italy, off the north east coast of the island overlooking turquoise Mediterranean sea. The purpose of this retreat is to take time to nourish and restore the body and mind from accumulated stress, the result of our busy modern lifestyles. These hectic patterns disconnect us from experiencing our essential nature, inner peace and happiness. This special place will allow you to channel your energy towards rebalancing and relaxation, a space which helps take you away from your daily commitments and immerses you into a conscious, mindful state, allowing you to feel your balanced self once more.

Each day will be made up of morning vinyasa flow, followed by a freshly prepared brunch, made with locally sourced produce. After an afternoon of yin yoga and restorative yoga, we will then be ready for our delicious, Sardinian inspired dinner. There will also be a dedicated workshop scheduled during your stay.
Our retreats are designed to be relaxed and informal, so there will be plenty of free time between classes for you to explore the Marinella neighbourhood, or simply soaking up the Mediterranean sun by the lovely swimming pool. The villa is surrounded by lush greenery and by the national park Asinara where you may spot some Sardinian turtles walking about. Or you can enjoy a relaxing pleasant walk down to Marinella beach which is made up of soft white sand and shallow turquoise crystal clear waters and you will spot a few fish swimming around. Simply savouring these surroundings is meditation in itself. Villa Antonina has a well equipped yoga shala, and a holistic wellness centre where it offers personalised treatments based on the herbal knowledge of the Sardinian folk tradition, and combined with modern biomedical technology.
This Italy retreat is designed to allow you to fully relax with friends or partners, or simply take the time to be by yourself.
What You Can Expect
Yoga
All sessions are suitable for all levels. They are designed in a supportive environment for those who are looking to learn or return to the foundations of yoga postures, alignment, breathing, and technique. It will be a mixture of Vinyasa flow, Hatha, and Yin / Restorative. Daily practice will help you to feel grounded, centred and rejuvenated.

Yoga Nidra & Singing Bowl Meditation
Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health. In combination with singing bowl meditation, it takes you to a deeper relaxation on a cellular level.

Pranayama & Meditation
In the medical community, there is a growing appreciation for the positive impact that deep breathing can have on the physiology, both in the mind and the body. Both Pranayama and meditation helps reduce anxiety and depression, lower/stabilise blood pressure, decrease feelings of stress and overwhelm, improve immunity.

Local Sourced, Sardinian Produce
We provide hearty, home-cooked vegetarian food by using locally sourced produce made by our retreat chef. Our chef specialises in Ayurveda, and she will bring her passion and speciality for food to our retreat. We can accommodate dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegan etc. Please do let us know in advance.

There will be plenty of scheduled free time for you to simply indulge in this lush island. Take time to enjoy the stunning Sardinian scenery, or swim in the open outdoor pool while enjoy with the warm, Mediterranean climate . There are many reported benefits of spending time outdoor in nature which helps release stress, improve the immune system, promote sleep and relaxation and spiritually cleanse your aura.

What's not included:
Flights and transportation. It's roughly 24 km away from Olbia airport, 20-25 mins on taxi. Tourist tax is not included, which is about €2.5/day. Any massage treatment is not included either.
