We have selected this unique and tranquil venue on the beautiful Greek island of Kefalonia in order to create an exceptional yoga experience for you. The purpose of this retreat is to rejuvenate and rebalance the body and mind from accumulated stress which is the result of a busy modern lifestyle. These busy patterns disconnect us from experiencing our essential nature, which is inner peace and happiness. We have selected this special place for you to channel the energy towards rebalancing and relaxation. A space which helps take you away from your daily commitments and immerses you into a conscious, mindful state allowing you to feel your balanced self once more.
Each day will be made up of morning vinyasa, followed by freshly prepared brunch using locally sourced, organic produce. Yin and restorative yoga in the afternoon will be followed by Mediterranean style dinner. There will also be a dedicated workshop taking place during the week.
There will be free time to allow you time to explore the stunning villa grounds with organic vegetable gardens and fruit tree groves. Take the short walk down to the local beach with crystal clear waters or simply soak up the sun by the villas luxury swimming pool, located discreetly and harmoniously between two rows of olive trees. The villa offers spectacular views of both mount Ainos and the Ionian sea, as well as a dedicated outdoor yoga shala sheltered by plants and trees. Simply savouring these surroundings is meditation in itself. This Greece retreat is designed to allow you to fully relax with friends or partners, or simply take the time to be by yourself.
What can you expect
All sessions are suitable for all levels. They are designed in a supportive environment for those who are looking to learn or return to the foundations of yoga postures, alignment, breathing, and technique. It will be a mixture of Ashtanga vinyasa flow, Hatha, and Yin / Restorative. Daily practice will help you to feel grounded, centred and rejuvenated.
Yoga Nidra & Singing Bowl Meditation
Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health. In combination with singing bowl meditation, it takes you to a deeper relaxation on a cellular level.
Pranayama (Breathing Exercise) & Meditation
In the medical community, there is a growing appreciation for the positive impact that deep breathing can have on the physiology, both in the mind and the body. Both Pranayama and meditation helps reduce anxiety and depression, lower/stabilise blood pressure, decrease feelings of stress and overwhelm, improve immunity.
Local Sourced Organic Produce
We provide fresh, home-cooked food using mostly organic and local produce, more often than not from the venue's own vegetable garden. We create dishes with a leaning towards Greek and Mediterranean style, however we incorporate modern twists on traditional recipes to create fresh and exciting flavours. We can accommodate special dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegan etc.
Tour to A Local Winery (Optional)
On the last day take a tour to a local winery where you can learn about local, unique Kefalonian wines and winemaking. Enjoy immersing yourself with the local culture.
Connecting To The Self And Nature
There will be plenty of scheduled free time for you to simply simply indulge in this lush island with its warm, mediterranean climate. Take time to enjoy the stunning scenery and swimming in the Ionian sea. There are many reported benefits to swimming in the sea. Rich in magnesium, seawater helps release stress, relax your muscles, promote deep sleep and spiritually cleanse your aura. Swimming in the sea has also been linked to stimulating the parasympathetic system which is responsible for rest and repair and can trigger the release of dopamine and serotonin.

This villa is built to a high quality standard and contains three bedrooms, one luxury master bedroom, and two luxury shared double rooms. Each rooms comes with a sea view. the grounds contains spacious outdoor seating, a wood fire pizza oven and luxury swimming pool over looking the sea. This villa will be at the very heart of the retreat, and the outdoor facilities will be available to all.

Beach houses (A&B) (Fully booked)
Beach houses A & B are surrounded by beautiful gardens with stunning views, and are located right next to Villa. Each house consists of two rooms, a kitchen and a dining area. Beach house A has one bathroom shared by two rooms, and Beach house B has two en-suite rooms. Full use of the villa facilities is included.

The studio room is in a similar location the beach houses, with beautiful grounds and just a short distance to the villa. It has a double bed, kitchen/dining area, and an en-suite sweet bathroom. Full use of the villa facilities is included.

Flights and transportation Transportation to the retreat can be arranged and is approximately £10 one way (minimum 3 people in a group). By taxi, the cost is roughly €25-35 one way from the airport.
