
Our Story
A home for holistic wellbeing and shared wisdom
Growing up in Taiwan, I was surrounded by the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a holistic understanding of the human body. Yet, despite this early connection to wellbeing, I found myself lost—trapped in a corporate career that drained my health, energy, and sense of purpose. Everything changed when I discovered yoga in Shanghai. Immersing myself in a year-long practice, I began to reconnect with my body, calm my mind, and gain clarity about what truly mattered: my health and the desire to help others discover the same. In 2015, I moved to the UK to study, grounding myself and following the calling that had been growing in my heart. Since 2017, I’ve been teaching community classes in Bournemouth, helping set up the charity Park Yoga, and leading yoga retreats across the UK and abroad. Joy Yoga and Wellness Studio is the natural next step in this journey—a space where everyone can explore, learn, and reconnect with themselves. From our 200-hour yoga teacher training to Yin Yoga courses, we share not just the techniques of yoga, but the holistic wisdom, curiosity, and joy that inspire a balanced, meaningful life. This is also a space for local community wellness practitioners to host their sessions and share their passion for wellbeing, helping us create a thriving hub of health and connection for our local community.
